The full package that www.ukcricket.org offers

If you would like to have a 4 week FREE trial website set up for your cricket club,
please contact us using the form at the bottom of the page.

Joining www.ukcricket.org with the full package will give you:
                    A database-driven website

A domain name
                    Hosting

A protected area for your webmaster to update the database

What's new in Version 2?
A second version is now available for new members, and current members when they next renew their membership.  Version 2 gives you more control over the design of the website - the colours and styles used - so you can have a more customised site.  Also available: more photos, better designed listings, more match information, more control over the bulletin board, more pages in the club details section...
Please view the The Fantasy Cricket Club website for a demonstration.

 * The Web Pages

You are provided with 5 simple but well designed web pages, aimed at the effective display of information:

Home Page   Your webmaster chooses what words and colours to use on the home page.  You may also have messages displayed either side of the strip, again this is updateable by your webmaster - demo (click Back to return)

Club Details A page of text displaying information about your club, such as where you are, the current officers and how to contact you.  You can also display upto 5 photos/pictures.  The webmaster can keep this page up to date from the protected area - demo (click Back to return)

Fixture List A page displaying the latest list of fixtures (date, opponent, venue, time, meet time) from the database.  You can list the fixtures for a particular team, for a particular month, or just the games for which you have been selected.  For each fixture you can view the team sheet or, if the match has been played, the result - demo (click Back to return)

Averages & Results You can search the results database to display match scorecards, team averages, or the latest players' figures for the season.  The amount of information that you can display depends on how much data you put in - demo (click Back to return)

Bulletin Board You can display up to 5 items of news at a time.  These can be anything from a recent match report or club election results, to who is making the salads for the end of season barbeque - demo (click Back to return)

 * The Database and Protected Area

So that you can keep control over your site, all the pages run from a database.  A designated member, or members, of the club will be given a password to access the protected area of the website.  Using this protected area, they will be able to keep the site up to date with simple data entry pages.  Changes can be made at any time - no special knowledge is required, just a connection to the Internet - demo (click Back to return)

 * A Domain Name

Many existing small websites suffer from having a long, meaningless web address.  Members of this service have the domain name of www.ukcricket.org/clubname

 * Hosting

We organise and fund the hosting of your site

 * Cost

We charge a one-off setup fee of 150 when you join www.ukcricket.org which covers page and database creation and hosting.  From then on, your designated webmaster(s) will be in charge of maintaining the data using the protected area.  Telephone / email support for the webmaster is free of charge.

After the first year you will be charged a smaller annual fee of 75 for continuing your membership.
